The Average Pub Band
After seven years and various line-ups, this latest incarnation of The Average Pub Band came about in the Summer of 2007. Long standing members Jamie (guitar) and Steve (drums) were joined by Alfie (bass). Looking to provide something different from the standard pub cover sets, they set out to find some good, punchy tunes that you wouldn't normally hear every weekend. The band have gathered together a good range of covers, from old classics to the latest indie tunes, throwing their own cheeky twist where inappropriate - once proving that Bing Crosby does go with Reggae if you do it right. Gigging across Hampshire and Surrey, prepare yourself for something a little less Average!
